The Heart Behind the Farm
Joyful Farm was founded in honor of a woman whose love, kindness, and joy continue to guide everything we do.
After my mother passed away in 2023, something unexpected began to happen. As I traveled our mile-long dirt driveway, a bluebird would appear and fly directly in front of my windshield. Before she passed, I had never experienced anything like it. If I stopped the truck and rolled down the window, the bird would stay nearby, watching me instead of flying away. Over the years, I've continued to see that bluebird, though not as often. In my heart, I've always felt it was a reminder of Mom and her presence in my life.
The four-leaf clover in our logo is also a tribute to her. She had a remarkable gift for finding them. I could spend hours searching and come up empty-handed, but she could walk into a patch of clover and almost immediately spot one. She loved the simple joy of finding them, and that memory has stayed with me. The bluebird and four-leaf clover became the inspiration behind our farm's branding because together they tell a story of love, hope, good fortune, and cherished memories. They remind us that joy can be found in the smallest moments and that the people we love continue to shape who we are long after they're gone.
The name Joyful Farm reflects the spirit my mother brought into the lives of everyone around her. It's a reminder to appreciate life's blessings, care for one another, and find joy in each season. Every time you see our bluebird carrying a four-leaf clover, you're seeing a small piece of her story and the inspiration behind everything we do here at Joyful Farm.
FARM FRESH EGGS
There is nothing quite like gathering eggs fresh from the nest each day. Our flock provides a variety of farm-fresh eggs, including chicken, duck, and turkey eggs. Raised with care and plenty of room to roam, our birds produce eggs that are fresh, flavorful, and perfect for your family's table.
CHICKS & POULTS
Whether you're starting your first backyard flock or adding to an existing one, we offer healthy young birds ready to begin their journey on your farm. We periodically have chicken chicks, ducklings, and turkey poults available throughout the season.
CHICKENS, DUCKS, AND TURKEYS
Looking for mature birds? We offer quality chickens, ducks, and turkeys raised right here on our farm. Our birds are well cared for and accustomed to a natural farm environment, making them a great addition to homesteads, hobby farms, and family flocks.
GROWING WITH OUR FARM
Joyful Farm is still growing, and we have many dreams for the future. Our next goal is to begin beekeeping so we can offer local honey and handcrafted beeswax products. Bees play such an important role in agriculture, and we look forward to learning, growing, and sharing their gifts with our community.
As the farm continues to develop, we would also love to grow and sell fresh produce. Providing wholesome food for local families is something that fits naturally with our vision for the farm and the values we hold dear.
Looking even further ahead, we hope to one day bale our fields and offer hay for sale, continuing a tradition that runs deep in our family. My grandfather and father both baled hay, and carrying on that part of our farming heritage would be a meaningful way to honor their legacy.
While these plans may still be years away, we are excited about what the future holds and grateful to have you along for the journey as Joyful Farm continues to grow.

WHY JOYFUL FARM?
Generations of Farming Heritage
Joyful Farm is built on land that has been farmed by our family for four generations. My great-grandfather was the first to farm this land, followed by my grandfather and father, who operated Galloway Farms here. Today, we are honored to carry on that legacy as fourth-generation farmers, caring for the same land they loved and worked.
